Diagnosis & Treatment
Diagnosis:
Dr. Socol identifies optimal testosterone levels through an in-depth questionnaire, blood testing, detailed physical examination, and follow up evaluations.
For those diagnosed with a deficiency, Dr. Socol may order additional testing to measure the health of other body systems.
Treatment:
There are numerous approaches to treating hypogonadism and partial androgen deficiency. Some rely on replacing testosterone directly, and others on an ability to stimulate the testes, the glands which produce testosterone, to make more of it.
For some individuals, a combination approach represents best practice.
An in-depth needs analysis and conversation with Dr. Socol helps to establish the best approach for each individual.
